In my case, I would snore like crazy and my wife has put up with it for many years. It took me about 6 weeks to get used to using this wonderful piece of equipment...it was not my favorite choice until I tried a few masks and settled on the ResMed Activa mask and a Respironics Cpap Machine with C-Flex technology. The HMO i belong to just gave me a machine and a cheap mask with no choice and very little interaction with me. I currently use neither of the cpap machine or the mask I was given. I guess this is what they call taking healthcare into your own hands! How about you, I can't believe I am the only one with this experience. The only difference is that I own a sleep lab and I see this happen every day.
